While putting my C. elegans pair away after my mating attempt, i noticed my 6.5" female Aphonopelma sp. "New River" looked like she had her leg stuck in the top of the KK. "Oh no i must rescue her", i thought.... went to grab her off the top of the shelf when she backed up (she was less than a foot away from my face) and started kicking hairs like crazy! I knew what was coming (see 'Nate wipes his face with packing material'....yea... that was her :() and now i cant stop sneezing... feel like i got needles in my eyeballs. God this sucks...
:wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Maybe that H. gigas isn't so bad after all.......haha

Respect the hairs my friends.... :worship:

Thanks everybody, it is starting to subside a bit already. Still kinda itchy and sneezy but at least its not burning quite as bad in my eyes. I think i flushed them like 3 times. I will remember the saline solution in the future ;) might have to pick up a little dropper of that!

:D

Cheers,
Nate

Sorry to hear that and I'm glad it's getting better. I get haired all the time, thankfully not in the face yet.

Keep some Benadryl on hand for the next piss-off session. It'll make you sleep so hard you won't even KNOW you're itching!

If you're having that feeling like they're stuck in your nose poking sneezes out of you try Mucinex. That will keep you from drying up and when that happens it feels worse!
