I know its just a G. rosea but I seen her at the LPS and bought her today..

The wood chips are on coco fiber.. I just put those there because the coco fiber wasnt dried out.. They are only in one small are so she can be alittle more comfy untill it drys..You should ditch the wood chips and get some coco fibre or something similar.
Thanks.. I think I am going to give it to my niece she is 3 and already LOVES snakes and tarantulas.. I will take care of it for her but its hers..What a pretty girl! Congrats!!
That last pic is sick!

Yea she had a name picked out for it before I made it home.. She desided that Itsy was a good name for it..Aw, so fuzzy and cute. Has your niece picked out a name for her? Picking names was always my favorite part of having pets when I was that young, heheh.
I know I thought it was something rare but then I started looking at all the other G. roseas at my LPS and most if not all of them have that pinkish carapace.. My other G. rosea has more of a pinkish color to her.. She is just gorgeous to me..G. roseas with the pink carapace, like yours, are quite pretty. I always underestimated this species until I saw one with a really noticable pink. I think I had only ever seen the more brownish/greyish forms before in pet shops until recently.
