Ok, I absolutely love black widows and I heard that substrate isn't a must for these spiders so I thought why not use my black light ides for these instead of my golith. What would you use as a substrate for these spiders to light up under a black light? Be creative and if you have any other awesome ideas throw them out as well and PLEASE post pics of your set-ups to the few idiots like myself whom have these for a pet. Thanks, Idiot ;)

Since substrate really isn't necessary, you could use perlite. Pure white rocks would light up very well.
Not sure however, if blacklights are particularly good for the spideys though.

Good idea, I was thinking of that glow in the dark sand or white reptical sand but I don't know if my sticks and decor would stay in place. I have a black light behind my widow and it doesn't seem to bother her. Shes still eating really well but it is neat going to bed and looking over and see her hanging from her web. Thanks for your input !!! MORE PLEASE, Trey
