My p mirinus sling is about 3/4" -1". She squeezed out of her little burrow and was doin' a walkabout tonight. Trouble is, when she tried to get back into the ground, she had her thorax all the way in and her big butt stickin' out. At one point she just stopped and called it good. Thought for a minute I was looking at a bright orange osterich!

I love when they do that! All of my H. macs, P. murinus, P. cambridgei, P. irminia, and my P. striata all do the same thing. They like to just chill halfway rather than burrow completely. Cute little bugs!
