I got a 1" GBB and 1" OBT slings from Paul Becker yesterday.
I was doing the re-housing and the GBB's went smoothly.
The OBT was in a scared pose with its legs over his head and I had an "aww" moment. Next thing I know I touched one of his legs to coax him into his new enclosure when he bolted like the Flash
1) out of his deli cup
2) out of his new enclosure
3) out onto the 5 gallon tank I had as a last catch all
He rested inside one of the corners of the tank and it took me about 20 minutes to get him into his new home, and about 2 hours for my nerves to settle .
This is my first OBT and you guys were not kidding when you said they were fast!!!
He practically teleported from one place to the other.
I'm just glad I had his new home into the tank in case this happened
Do they slow down as they get bigger or are they speed demons for life?
