k so im havin trouble wit Queso, my 1.5"? obt sling. i got it housed in a queso jar ( hence its name) and it is COMPLETELY webbed up. as of yesterdays feeding its been refusing food so imma go ahead and presume premolt. in any event, im wonderin HOW DO I GO ABOUT MAINTENANCE IN ITS ENCLOSURE? i fed it again tonite, (pin head cricket left over ) and didnt notice the large dead cricket from yesterday.. never had a t that made so much web before and would like to get the prey out with the least amount of stress to the obt as possible. you can view quesos home MINUS ALL THE WEB in my gallery images, use ur imagination for the rest. axvice is appreciated

given that an OBT enclosure is largely dry, i generally find that if the food bolus is obvious and reachable i get them, if not, i don't worry too much as its dry so they tend not to mould or mite up.

also, i wouldn't worry about breaking up webbing, they'll redo it in no time :)

The OBT's I've had seemed to enjoy any excuse to rearrange their webs, so I wouldn't worry too much about breaking it up. Of course, they also liked to come out and give a "big hug and a kiss" because they were sooo happy to have visitors!

the only thing i hate about their webbing is its like trying to work around kevlar mesh with spray glue on it...i tried to get a molt out of one of my obt's deli cups, and of course molt on bottom, obt on top of slam thick webbing, laying upside down striking....i ended up finally getting it the next day, got lucky, but yeah if you have to remove all the webbing they will rebuild....just becareful not to get them entangled in the web while removing it, or letting it make a lightning strike at you

now thats funny right there....lance you should trade me bitey things..2 of mine usually bolt to the top and are ready for battle as soon as i touch the deli cup...although i havent gave them the chance, maybe they are just tryin to hug and kiss:D
