This is a thread I have been wanting to start for some time now, but have not had the time. I am an arborist (tree doctor) and so I get to work in the canopies of trees very frequently. It is such a great job because not only do I love trees, I also love spiders and other invertebrates. At work I find hundreds of spiders and interesting insects a year, so I make it a habit to climb with a collection vial or two. At times I get to just sit and observe fascinating animals in their native habitat, and I generally go virtually unnoticed. I love it, and I can not think of a better (feasible) job for me. I want to know how many of you get to watch spiders and other inverts at work and what exactly it is you do.

I was not sure exactly where I should post this, but if it gets a good response here and others want me to maybe we cold post a similar thread in "the big section." There are no T's where I live, so I could not really justify putting it in their section, and I also wanted to hear about other interesting invertebrates you guys run across. For now I will just put it in here and see how you guys like it. Thanks.

I work in a spider lab full of Australian huntsmen spiders on one side, and a lot of tarantulas on the other side. So whenever I go to work, I'm surrounded by spiders doing all sorts of cool things.
