NY Spiders?

i was wondering if any medically important spiders lived in new york, specifically long island. i heard brown recluses were found, as crazy as that seems, but i can't be too sure.

No recluse, no hobos, no whatever people tell you. We do have very specifically located L. variolus, but funny thing is, people claim we DO have the first 2 I mentioned, while they insist we don't have widows.

brown recluse can be found as far north as il,so it is possble to find them in biuldings in NY.
