Common blue butterfly on thistle flower, grabbed with my phone.

Theyre not very common in Enlgand now, its nice to see them again!

I read an article about these today. It is amazing how they came back to the place where they were once common.

If they are rare, shouldn't they change the name to "Uncommon blue butterfly"? :confused:

Maybe 'Lesser Spotted Blue'? {D

Well, down south they are extremely common, I am out and about a lot of the time doing invertebrate surveys and they turn up on nearly every suitable site I visit.

Hi Tegenaria. You've got nice camera in your phone. Quite good macrophotography (I've seen worse pics taken with DSLR) :)

These butterflies are very common in Poland especially this year. I see them everywhere I go collect insects.
