hahah have any of guys ever have any nitemare about ur Tarantula ?

:p lately i been expericen the Tarantula escaping dream

Is quite funny, it made me wake up so many times these day to just go stare in the tank to check if any of them has escaped :p

:eek: but no matter what hehe i still love them a lot:p

I once saw a nightmare where my mature male B.smithi escaped and mated with my G.pulchra and they made a bunch of hybrid babies.


I have also often seen nightmares where crickets eat my spiders or they have bad molts.

lol funny that you say that. i recently got my brother in law to get a t and he said he had been having the escape dream lol

I had one last night in which I killed a B. boehmei because it haired me (WTF? :wall: ) and last week in which I let my B. smithi escape :confused:

Edit: reading the one about the all in the same tank. That was last night aswell. And I just remember that in it my B. smithi and G. aureo attacked eachother and both died..

Lol, I have the escape dream just about every other night. Plus, I'm a sleepwalker and talker, so my girlfriend gets pissed when i wake up telling her that "it's on your face, DON'T MOVE!"

It has actually gotten to be kind of irritating because I really do have that dream very often.

yep, I have them quite often, escape kinds
I keep all mine at work, (in my patient house)
I also live here so I got small room full of Tarantulas
then next thing if sumone escape for real
I have to brake a news real gentle to a black lady in her 60 (who is a sitter when Am off)
Um, BTW u didnt happened to see huge hairy spider going by? :rolleyes: :eek: :eek:

Actually not so much a nightmare just an odd dream ( but explainable )

in my dream:
I was doing something in my OBT's cage.
It suddenly ran to my hand and bit my finger between the first and second knuckle. It wouldn't remove it's fangs but I didn't want to hurt it, so I left it alone. As it started to "chew" - remove fangs and reinsert like it was eating my finger. I woke up


only to find I'd slept on my wrist causing my hand to "fall asleep" and my fingers were all "pins and needles".

I never had a nightmare about tarantulas, but awhile back I had a nightmare about rats. Rats were everywhere and they were attacking me...I was like...eew...dirty, diesease, ridden rats! In the dream one actually managed to attach itself to my hand and kept knawing at it. What a nightmare! {D

No nightmares to speak of, only dreams. The best one was me being at the mall, and there's A.versicolors loose all over. So, what does a T lover do in that situation? Try to rescue them all! :drool:
Definitely not a nightmare; I was disappointed when I woke up. Awww man!

well not a dream, though it could have potentially been a nightmare had the spider woken me up at the time. My adult greenbottle blue apparently learned how to open his cage - snap down type lid and the cage was sitting on the headboard of the bed. I'm used to waking up in the middle of the night with escaped crickets or hissing roaches occasionally scurrying across my face or arm and would just grab and throw them across the room and go right back to sleep. I can only imagine the screams if the spider had done that. ) He was on a weeklong walkabout before I even realized he was awol and happily living under the bed in a discarded old 35mm roll film box.

not nightmares, but creepy deams. It usually involves the T being out and in the bed, or on the wall or head-board, etc.

I wake up trying to catch her, or checking the sheets or under the pillow in hopes of not hurting her.:?

It absolutly pisses my wife...last time I actually turned on th elight sin my stuper!:worship:

I had a terrible nightmare about a tarantula before i ever had any.
I was in my bed completely parylized staring at the cieling and the T came down from the cieling with its web (i know they dont do this obviously) and sat on my hand. It's feet got stuck inside my hand and ripped my skin out and poisoned me (again I know T's aren't poisonous and don't "poison" people with their feet, I just have odd dreams) and my hand swelled up and I was in alot of pain and asked my step dad to take me the hospital and he was like "can't you see I'm eating a sandwich?"

Yeah it was weird.

I've had a few dreams about T's (none of them WET:embarrassed:).

When I was expecting my first T's, I dreamt that when I opened the shipping box, about 3 P Regalis adults come flying out. Then start flying around the room trying to attack me. Imagine a flying P Regalis:? .

More recent was discovering a local petstore selling t's in a Nursery. There was a wooden outbuilding surrounded by tree's & plants next to the petstore. When I went inside all I could see was T blondi's. Massive T. Blondi's{D That was sweet.
