sorry if its alot of these threads, but i've got 2 Chromatopelma slings and they are both in premolt and the premolt wait is killing me and i'm planning on buying some more T's. my next are going to be H.incei C.darlingi but its to cold to ship em so i've wondered if theres some else species that i can look for thats pretty near my area. I would love em to webb but the most important is that they will be out much, and feroucious eaters. NOT OBT ! little to much for my experience:)

Best regards.

Actually, P.murinus are perfect....very easy to keep....web a lot.
As long as you understand how defensive they are.....job done.
I think they are the easiest African to keep bar none.

I am with Paul. They are not as bad as they are made out to be,but a hand pet they are NOT.They are very hardy, and thrive on neglect. Yes they are defensive, but it's not like you will be poking around in its enclosure enough to get tagged.( at least I hope not). They are beautiful, interesting T's,and are slowly becoming my personal favorite.I do not see how you could go wrong getting one.My wife bought me one as y third T,and I have never had any issues due to lack of "expeirence" Just realize that it is not a B.Albo,or Rosie, and you will be FINE.

Cant go wrong with a P murinus. I recently bought a 3 inch as my first Old world. {D And there very very attractive. I will admit however at first it was quite intimidating for me. Considering i have only had new world species for years. The speed caught me off guard and the "fear nothing" attitude was something new to me. How ever that being said. If your cautious and always aware of what is going on. I dont think you will have problems with it at all. Mine is actually quite active. Which is a huge plus :)

P.murinus are fine for you. Just be cautious as with any T. Don't shove your hand in the enclosure and you should be fine!
You know you want one!

Stunning mate
To the OP...
OBT............no
P.murinus.....yes please
These animals are far to special to use "common" names.
Use scientific names and you will always get a greater and more informed response :)
