Hello!
I’m hoping to get into keeping more insects and inverts than just tarantulas so I'm looking for some suggestions!
I’m moving soon, so something that could be kept in an inconspicuous terrarium set up (Like the pretty geometric ones i can play off as just being for live plants) in the case I move somewhere not chill with them would be ideal OR ones that I can keep in a tub and put in a dark corner like I can with my Ts when I need to make their presence scarce.
I would also prefer something that I can feed primarily veggies or dead protein, because my Dubia colony is hardly keeping up with my ts as is and I’m not interested in expanding atm. Low maintenance when it comes to temperature would also be preferred. I’d appreciate suggestions of species and also where to purchase them if possible!
Thank you in advance!!

I'd say Amblypygi, but they eat mostly crickets and such. They're photophobic, lack venom or urticating setae and are fascinating to watch.
You just have to watch them under very very dim light.

I'm DEFINATELY interested in keeping Amblypygi at some point!

I'd love to keep death feigning beetles...are there any similar beetles that thrive in more humid/tropical set ups?
Sun beetles (Pachnoda marginata) are pretty cool, eats fruits and veggies of the sort and prefers tropical setups, but I don't know much else.

Honestly I think isopods are the absolute perfect pick for you. Pick up a few Armadillidium Maculatum or something.

I agree for the OP if they don’t want to feed it live prey, isopods or millipedes are your best bet.

If your interesting in millipedes check out my link to our site in my sig file
