Hi all, I jsut thought I would share this picture of my new corn snake. Common Spider and I were at the pet shop a couple weeks ago and this lady came in and asked us if we wanted him for free! Cage and all....

So here he is, he's a good 5' in length

She was a not so nice lady to the snake. It was in filthy bedding and she had admited to not feeding it for a while. but it has a great home now

You are lucky to met each other (I mean the snake and you). He was free because he was just a "problem"....sad!

The snake has been a bit snippy, but after a few days now he's getting better. We hold him for a few minutes at a time.

Hey, what kind of wood shavings are in that tank? Is it what the lady was keeping it on or is that it's new set up?

Its me, SheWithFangs posting-

that is cypress mulch- like what you would buy in bags for your garden. the woman had the snake in pine shavings that was so soild it was caked.

In the past years I get a huge normal corn male, an amel female, and an Epicrates cenchria maurus female for free! ;P
