Newbie...all suggestions welcome

hello all....well i never figured i'd be writing this but here i go. I have finally purchased my first snake (always been quite afraid of them). He's a california kingsnake. i'm looking for any suggestions or tips anyone may have as this is my first snake ( i keep a large array of arachnids). any info would be MUCH appreciated. thank you and take care

Congrats!!!!! Welcome to having a snake!!!! I'm a newbie myself. I've had a 7 month old male ball python for about 2 months now, and I love it!!!! I really know nothing about king snakes (other than I think they are beautiful). I just wanted to welcome you and tell you that I have loved being owned by a snake.
