So, the pet shop I got the tailless whip scorpion from just got in some vinegaroons as well. I picked one up yesterday and I'm loving this guy. He has already eaten for me, which was pretty fun to watch. I'm thinking of attempting to breed them, but wanted your guys opinion. Would you all agree this is a male?

Make sure it has deep moist substrate to burrow in! And be prepared for it to be burrowed most of the year depending on individual behavior, I have some I have not seen all year so far that have been underground for a year now just about!

About that... Do you wait till yours are out and about before you feed them? Or do you drop food in every once and awhile to see if they are coming out at night hunting?

can't wait till the day i get my own vinagaroon are they fun to take care of
They have also been on my wishlist for quite awhile. As far as being fun to take care of, I just got mine, but so far it hasn't disappointed me. Even if it is going to be a mostly empty tank for some time, I'm fine with that.

When they are sealed away underground in molting chambers no, only if their burrows are open do I attempt to feed!
