I purchased a beautiful Asian vine snake at the local reptile show today! I named the little beauty Stretch and he/she currently resides in a 10-gallon vertical setup. I plan on moving it to a 20-gallon in the near future. I'll probably upload pictures when I can. I'm really excited about this!

Congrats on the purchase! Remember to keep the humidity VERY high (80%+).
Just out of curiosity, where are you going to get anoles for him?

Wherever I can find them, really. I was thinking about breeding anoles or house geckos for it.

You would have to be insanely dedicated to be housing tons of them (including the labour and time involved with feeding and cleaning) just for one snake. It doesn't make a lot of sense, which is why most people making attempts with these species of snakes purchase or catch their feeders. Also they eat more than most snakes, taking meals multiple times a week and rarely adapt to frozen food.

If OP has a ready, cheap supply of feeder lizards (to feed his snake 2-3 times a week) or is intent on breeding enough to have that many appropriately sized feeders available every week...he'll be fine. I suspect he may find it either expensive or very labour intensive in the long run.

They will rarely even take pre-killed lizards, let alone rodents of any kind. If they do that would be awesome, though I'm sure I've heard that they might be too fatty as a staple diet for these guys. I could be wrong, and it's been some time since I've kept them...but I recall that being the general consensus at the time.

Basically, because they are known to be delicate, are notoriously picky feeders (as well as rear-fanged venomous) they are recommended for those who have a great deal of experience. I enjoyed mine - I had success in breeding but not raising the babies. However, to be honest I would not do it again. The food issue was a challenge for sure.
