I just got a little baby uro today. He's an absolute cutie but unfortunately I don't have a camera to take pictures with. I think that s/he is hedwikii or however you spell it. He's only hand size so I was wondering if I need to soak the seed and legumes or if he'll eat them dry.

i grind my beans/lentils with a coffee grinder.
and then sprinkle the powder on their food.

What do you think of using millet?
Another question: How often should I offer insects? Everything I've read said they are omnivorous but I don't want to offer too much protein if it's detrimental to him/her.

millet is very good for them, waxworms are an excellent source of protien for them,i'd say 2x weekly for the protien content, congrats they are great lizards:clap:

Okay well I had a couple identify my uro and there seems to be a consensus on aegypticus instead of hardwikii
