New T's

Just recieved 4 new T's from Kelly atSwift Invertebrates:

1/4" Aphonopelma behlei
1/4" Aphonopelma hentzi
1/4" A. geniculata
1" N. coloratovillosus (free)

Sounds great ! Genics are pretty fast growers. But your in for a loooong wait for those other two Aphono. Not to sure about the N. Col. but I beleive its similar to the genic. :)

Yeah, A's are slow any way you look at it but such sweethearts! Great choices!

Who wants to make a bet?

I've got ten bucks that sez that A genic will be 3" before either of those Aphonopelma's are 1"...

Congrats on the new bugz. You have a nice assortment there. It will be interesting to compare their dramatically different growth rates as they mature.

No way am I going to take that bet. ;)
We own all 4 of these sp., and I'll bet you that the genic will be 6" before the Aphon's reach 1"........{D {D :p
The Nhandu's grow pretty well, too.

I know Aphonopelma's are slow growing, but I love them. I want have a collection of our native species. I live in Las Vegas and they plan on developing some BLM land by my house. In May, I plan on going and trying to collect an A. iodius or an A. mojave.
