unidentified Lycosa (wolf spider) found in Quebec maybe around the size or slightly bigger than a quarter.

Dolomedes tenebrosus but this one is grey! Unfortunately it is no longer alive.

What is that "white stuff" (for lack of a better term) on the rear of Lycosa?

Oh she's carrying a nice little egg sac right now!!! Can anybody give me tips on rearing baby wolf spiders? If I didn't want to feed them pinheads or fruitflies will they feed on a bigger killed cricket?

I forgot this pic. I took this in the Papineau Labelle Wildlife reserve. (in Quebec) I'm guessing it's another Dolomedes sp., but I'm not sure what kind.

That cupiennius coccineus is awesome. I'm keeping a dolomedes tenebrosus as well and she eats like a monster. How did you get that c.coccineus?
