Good Morning!

I wanted to introduce myself as a neophyte to caring for centipedes (myriads). I'm studied to become a veterinarian in St. Kitts, West Indies where a lot of pedes would haunt me in my sleep. Esp, during the sugar cane harvest. Now that I have some more time on my hands and living in Brooklyn, NY, I would like to care for a few pedes. I could use suggestions on recommended species, where to purchase and references on husbandry.

All the Best,

Moses

ken the bug guy has a great selection of pedes. check out his site:

i'd start off with a scolopendra polymorpha or heroes. all pedes are generally agressive, fast, and most have a pretty bad bite. so just be careful. or id start with one of the scolopendra subspinipes pedes. but the scolopendra subspinipes are known to have a more potent bite than the polymorpha. and they grow bigger i believe.

let me know what pede you got. :)
