If you're asking what I plan to do with the offspring, in the unlikely event that I am successful I will keep most of the offspring and give a few to friends in the hobby.

I like them but aren't the requirements for salamanders a bit high? From what I have read they are high maintenance animals.

You have to manage their humidity, temperature and ammonia levels, and each species has different requirements. Personally, I have not found salamanders all that difficult to keep. Definitely trickier than reptiles, but not that bad if you're willing to put forth an effort. I'm currently not keeping anything outside of the Ambystoma genus, though, and I find that the mole salamanders are the easiest to manage.

Haha, thanks! I've actually been a member of Caudata for YEARS, that's the first place I looked. I think I'm going to try them with a 55 gallon outdoor set up and see what happens.

nice tigers! i keep ambystomas aswell(different ones) along with slimys,reds,ensatinas(spelling) being i'm in fla. i keep them all in a large winecooler,all in seperate containers ofcourse,and they are doing great for years.
