I went to a local reptile show Sunday. They didnt have very many T's at all. Its a hit or miss thing there. Sometime a lot of T's, sometime hardly any.

Well, anyways, I saw this little lady (hopefully) sitting in a dirty container. It was marked "White knee". I asked the guy how much, and he said $15, so I bought her.

Seems quite docile, because the vendor just picked her up and put her into a carry container for me, and she didnt put up much of a fuss, other than to scurry off of his fingers once solid ground was within reach.

In this photo, she is relaxed, and leg span is about the size of a silver dollar, or a little bigger.

I dont know whether she is a Brazilian white banded (A. Brocklehursti), or a Brazilian Giant White Knee (A. Genticulara). The vendor said he did not know.

Can anyone tell which one she is?

Yes that is a A. geniculata and they are generally not docile:) They are quite food agressive so watch your fingers because they can be very fast.

Thanks for the warning.

I put her in a new cage when I got home, and threw in a cricket, but so far, she has shown no interest in eating. Could have possibly eaten recently, or maybe just taking time to readjust. Seems very healthy otherwise.
