I went to the local pet store and saw this big mother just sitting there, needing a home. Picked her up for $95. I think that's a good deal.

Is the picture showing now? I uploaded it once, but it failed, so I scaled it down and it's showing on my computer...

She looks to be in surprisingly good condition, considering where she came from. I've seen some pitiful-looking blondi's come from pet stores. Good job on a nice find!

Fortunately this pet store actually takes good care of all the animals they have in stock. They make sure that all their spiders can live the way they live in their natural environment (i.e. they allow Cobalt Blue's to burrow and they keep all spiders in appropriately sized containers).
