New Slings Today

I received my favorite kind of package today 3 new slings
2 Avicularia bicegoi
1 Poecilotheria regalis
I have been trying to find the A. bicegoi for over a year and a half and finally found some

I love A.Bicegoi!!! They look like a mix between Avicularia and G.Aureostriata.

Im getting one, or two, or three, or ten, when I get the money.

Bazzgazm about how big do they get. I was thinking about the same size as the A. versicolor.

the real bicegoi is one of the larger avicularias. but i'd suspect from 5-6 inches. much like the metallicas get. these are what is commonly accepted now as bicegoi and i have no idea=) but i saw some pics and they were 1 inch with mom, and mom seemed to be about 6" or so.
either way beautiful tarantulas.

my little 1" er tried shooting poop at me already.. he is officially gonna be my bad boy.. he doesn't like to get back in his jar either.. lol.. he climbs around hte rim and goes in circles making fun of me trying to put him back inside.

Thanx for the info Bazz. Well a little bit of sad news. I lost one of the bicegoi on Sunday. I came home from the reptile store with some food for every one and some pin heads for the new members of the family and one of the Bicegoi's was in a death curl . I kind of had a bad feeling about this one when I took the little fuzz ball out of the shipping vial. I hate it when I have a bad feeling. But not to worry I now have a total of 3 of them now . One of them does have what looks like a dead leg, but I am sure that it will be fine after a couple of molts.

I have an adult female bicegoi here that is just under 6 inches so yes, they get pretty big. Very pretty and also very docile.
