I have ordered 6 slings to raise up. I must say it's my favourite thing to prepare for. Reading up on the husbandry, watching videos about how they live in the wild and preparing enclosure appropriate for each species. I love it so much. Each one is has such different requirements and its so fun to learn about them. My current tarantulas have all been raised from tiny slings, so I have ordered slings with a bit more challenging needs. I am waiting on a Brachypelma auratum, Aphonopelma seemanni, Caribena versicolor, Hapalopus sp. Colombia large, (that one is so fun to say, 😆) Vitalius chromatus, and a true spider to shake things up, Eresus walckanaeri. I think learning about the natural habitat where they originate from is my favourite part. Of course I read about how people before me have failed, which is so important too. I am excited and can't wait for them to be shipped. I have gotten so good at drilling holes in enclosures. And have scoured AB on any information from the keepers who have come before me. Literally a fountain of knowledge. Enough of my ramble. 😁

Some of them are notoriously slow growers so not sure will "pass the winter" as quickly as you think ha ha
Geat choices though 😊
