Hey guys. I got two new slings yesterday from an LPS. I was wondering if you think they need bigger enclosures right now.

First one was sold as "Red Color Phase G. Rosea." What do you think.

Here's it next to a penny so you get an idea on size:

Here's a closer view:

I also purchased an A. Versicolor sling. It's a little harder to see but check it out:

Here's a couple pics of the container:

I'm so excited! I love versi's and I'm happy to have a rosie again as well if that's really what it is.

I will be posting an H. Lividum rehousing and attempted feed. Should I try to feed it before I move it or after?

Hard to say if your sling is what they say it is. If you have no reason to doubt them, I'd say it is what they say. I'd also feed your T before you rehouse it. I really don't think it matters all that much however.:)

Is it just me or does that G rosea look like it's pre-molt. Looks darkening underneath. Could just be that I'm on my cell. If it is wait to rehouse it.

The G. rosea can stay in that enclosure for a while, but the Avic looks like it could use a bigger enclosure pretty soon. In either event, both will be fine in their existing enclosures until you can find new ones.

That vial looks like it would be a hide. Move it into something that has some more room. Around 2-3x legspan for floor space and as much as you want for height.
