So we have been awake since 6:something this morning waiting for our "airbourne-express" pakage from Swift. It finally arrived at 9:somehting, so we rushed it into the spider room to open it. Inuleki already had the enclosures set up and ready for the new kids, so we tore into the package. Much happiness abounds! We are now the proud parents of a BEAUTIFUL 6 1/2 - 7" P. cancerides, a 2" "V" Platyomma, a 2" E. murinus, and an adorable little 1" H. schmidti (freeby). They were all doing well and quite feisty! This brings our grand total up to 34, soon to be 35. Soon to be 235, if my Versicolor mating goes well!:D

Happy girl, had to share...THANK YOU SWIFT!!!

You don't get many better freebies than a Haplopelma schmidti. If only we were so lucky to have freebies in Europe!

Yah, I was thinking about ordering the Haplo schmidti, but the E. murinus caught my eye, and I was at my spending limit. I was hoping for either a Haplo of some sort, or an H. gigas as the freeby.:D Swift is a mind reader, I swear!

well, that was also due to the fact that we paid before we remembered our arachnopets discount....

but they all seem to be acclimating really well... and i talked to swift and he's almost positive our cancerides is a female :D

yeah, i've been wanting the platyomma since i saw a few pictures, then i just had to have one after gary showed me his.... they're gorgeous T's.... i'd have to say my fave are by the pamphobetus and well, it's labeled everywhere as Vitalus, but from everything i've seen and read it either got moved from pampho, or is being moved to pampho.... either way i love it....

and the cancerides is just impressive (now that kacey sees that i can do the defensive sp.)

and well, the E. murinus was one of the first T' si ever saw, and that striping is just unreal :D

Platyomma is a great choice, whatever genus they put it in!:D I know you will love it, it will be one of your favorite T's, I bet!:) I purchased 1 last Dec., at 3", and now it is a 7 " female, without being pushed for size. She is gorgeous, and has alot of personality. It was not a favorite when I purchased her, but it is now. She will come to the edge of the cage like a dog when I start feeding her. When my girlfriend and friends saw this, they could not believe it!:D
