nice shelves

The shelves are great. It would be nice to have a designated spider place. I'm curious about why you have the reflective material and bright light? Do you use real plants? I haven't had much luck with that.

Very nice! Hey, what is that shiny stuff you used? I see that it's taped on, but can't quite figure out what it is. I've been thinking about getting one of those shelves, and now that I've seen your pics I want one even more.

It's like foil bubble wrap.. it's insulation $25 per roll at Lowes.

Since I have my T's up against a cold cinder block wall I thought I'd insulate it.. it's thin, light, and yes reflective :)

I haven't redlighted yet but can't wait..

I have the lights on a timer and they give off some heat giving me a photoperiod and a daytime night time temp diff.

How much does that insulation raise the temp on the shelves from ambient room temp?

I have only the two Fluorescent lights and two heat mats (med size)

when I cover the front I can raise the temp to 5-7F* over ambient

Ohhhhh!

I'm going give this a try. I'm thinking of drapping a nice curtain over the sides to cove the instalation.
