Hi there looking for some help so my first scorpion came today , just noticed the stinger is white in colour is this normal the wee guys only very small , just thinking it will change colour as he gets older?? Thanks

Depends on the species, some have a white telson while young.

What species was this sold as? I think H. spinifer have a white telson as juveniles, as do some Pandinus (but the chela on this look more like Heterometrus to me)

Ya longimanus have a white telson until the third or fourth instar, but that doesn't 100% mean that this is a longimanus.

probably accurate if that's what it was sold as, then. definitely one of the few species that has the white telson as juveniles. it'll outgrow it.
