my p.regalis female arrived today and is already eating, they dont skip a beat do they lol i got a Lasiodora parahybana as lil free-bee too check them out

every ventral shot shows the ever famous lip pattern that the females have, i guess the colors of her are just throwing me off. Anyone know if these colors are common in juvie p.regalis'. She is only about 3.5 inches to 3.75 most.

Looks like my little' boy P. regalis from the ventral pics. Also, the angle and distance of the anterior book lungs appears male. This website might help:

where did you order it? i'm guessing you could try and email them to tell them you're unfortunate discovery. it's worth a shot even if they don't do anything. at least you tried, ya know?

Ventrally looking like a male in my opinion, and the dorsal stripe looks male too (though hard to tell what size your tarantula is, so this method may not be accurate).

From the pictures i am looking at, i am going to have to also say that it is a male. Sorry, but if you bought that as a female... i would be raising some fuss...

its 3.5 inches so its still a juvie i thought this pokie grew into their whites and blacks the older they got and that all juvies were pretty hard to tell apart by colors and stripes? Im not raising to much fuss bc the lady who sold it to me is being very helpful in the matter and has offered a refund, we agreed to wait till a molt so i can use my tools to know for sure, so shes being great. ill keep you all posted lol
