thx pacmaster and goomba for you advise i went to petsmart and boom there was a nice healthy looking baby pixie. the other one i was gunna buy was going to cost me around 60 after shiping and i got this one for 30. anyways he or she is a beast. it tooks down 3 roaches and it still seems hungry how much should i feed it. also how big/ deep of a water pool should it have. the substrate it is on it very moist plantation soil is this good? any advise plz to keep this little guy healthy so i can grow him into a monster :-D

Ah yes, the "how much should I feed it" issue. They'll eat till they're full and can barely move. Just use reason and don't let them pop, hahah. In terms of water dish, have it be up to their nostrils so they don't have to struggle to soak.

Oh, and substrate. Pure peat-moss soil from Lowe's works, or cubed eco-earth (which is my favorite). Go to the site in my sig if you really want to be engulfed in the world of disgustingly fat amphibians. :cool:

i think plantation soil is pretty much genaric eco earth. not positive tho becuase my LPS doesnt have eco earth only exo terra.

pyxies rocks !!! I have 2 juvi males and Im always thinking about when Im gonna feed them. I do 2x a week since there about 4-5" and can eat a crap load of dubia roaches !!! Most entertaning pet to feed, IMO.{D

Peatmoss for frogs? Really? I have a giant bale of Canadian Sphagnum peat moss that I use for my inverts, but that stuff has small hard clumps and pieces of wood in it. You really recommend it, Goomba?
