Did a small photoshoot with some of the T's today. I tried to coax the Pterror out for a photo, but she wasn't ready to come out. Ah well....one of these days I'll get some pics of her. She's about 3.5" now and the only pics I have are when she was about 1.5".

Anyway! On to the pics. First up, the freshly molted P. platyomma.

The C. thorelli/schioedtei finally stayed out long enough for me to grab my camera.

Another of the thorelli/schioedtei

A. avic

Look at those pretty toes!

The GBB....there's more green on it's legs than the camera shows. I was just happy to get a decent pic while it was racing around it's deli cup like a psycho!

L. parahybana fresh from a molt about 2 weeks ago. She's almost 4.5" now. Starting to show a bit of 'tude as well.

The always beautiful H. lividum.

I think that's what the result would be if you mated a porcupine with a tarantula.

Nice pics, and really nice Ts :)

Is the Thorelli/Schioedtei on the really reclusive side of the fence? More so than your Avic, for example?

Well, my avic isn't reclusive at all. I've had her since March of this year and she has yet to build a tube web of any sort other than the small one when she molted. My A. avic sling however, is a webbing machine!
The thorelli/schioedtei is kind of reclusive. I see it out all the time (my room's kind of dark), but the second I start to open it's container it goes into hiding. I was lucky to get those pictures, for once it stayed out when I opened the lid and stayed out while I grabbed the camera and shot a few pictures.

Great pics, nice looking T's you have there. My platyomma has now lost the cute Xmas tree markings after it's last molt. It's still a nice looking T, but I wish they kept their sling colors.
