I am so tickled - turns out I do have a macro feature on my digital camera after all. So here's a pic of Bungee sitting on a leaf in his new home.

I moved him into a slightly bigger food container with clear sides and top and added one plastic aquarium plant for him to climb on. He was all over it the moment I put him in! =D

I'll take more pics later, especially to show off his new fat butt he got from feasting on a cricket last night. :D But for now I'm really pleased with this shot - almost looks like he's in the rainforests of Brazil instead of in a plastic terrarium.

And another... just hanging around on a leaf... you can almost see his eyes... I guess my camera isn't so bad after all. :D

And finally, to make me look bad for ever worrying about the little fella not having an appetite... check out the fat, fuzzy butt! I won't need to feed him again for a couple of days! =D

Hee hee. Yeah, a lot of avic slings are indistinguishable at this size. Do you suppose Metallica are actually just Avicularia avicularia too?

I'm wanting some of the slings, but also very interested in the canera. I need to get some batteries for this trash-cam I have... dunno what kinda pics it'll kick out, but fairly certina it don't have macro, though I don't even know what the #$$%@!! that IS...

I have a Sony cybershot DS-P30 which I had previously only used for large things like eBay auctions. I didn't even know what the macro feature was at first, or even if I had one, then I read advice someone else gave and found the setting on my own camera, which was good since I misplaced the manual.

I swear I learn *everything* on this board. :D

Very nice pics greensleeves, I really like the front "Macro shot".

My geroldi looked like yours about a year ago, now she is going on 3" or so. Good luck with yours.

Many thanks! :)

When you say 'she' has it been sexed as a she? Are you going to breed her?

My experience with geroldis is admittedly limited, this being my first spider as well as my first one, but if all of them are sweeties like Bungee is I think the hobby could do with a lot more of them.
