New Pet

Just picked this little guy up today from Tanks a Lot in Calgary.
Wasn't real interested in Geckos before, but this little guy really caught my attention.

WOW hes cool!! Almost looks like he has a skull on his head!! Name him Skeletor!! LOL. Take lots of pics of him...they change so fast!! I wish the wee ones would keep their cool baby stripes all their lives....but alas...they get all spotted. Still are cool looking critters though!
They get fun personalities too! I have many that, as soon as you open the cage, they will "stalk" you! Pretty funny to see. I have one female that will jump up out of the cage and attack the baggie I have the crickets in as I pour them into the cage. Then she hangs there...for a long time...lol

Enjoy!! theyre almost worse than Tarantulas...you can't just have one!!!

What a cute lil' fella you have there! How much did you pay for it? I fell in love with a crested gecko they had at the pet store once... It was on sale for $80!!!!! No way can I afford that - and it doesn't even include the cost of the cage, food, substrate, accessories, etc...

I paid $50 Canadian for him. I've seen them cheaper at pet shows but I can't see saving $15 making much of a difference in my life.

I need to come up with a name. I liked Skeletor but my girlfriend put the kibash on that one. Sorry.

I saw a Bulldog Gecko that i really wanted too but he was $310 Canadian, and that's a little out of the question right now.
