new pede! S. morsitans...or is it(thx Randolph)? ID help

the guy i got the S. subspinipes (9.5" tip to tip...7.5" body length) shipped me my choice of 4 pedes as some may know from my other thread. I was narrowed it down to a Tanzanian yellow leg and a blue leg...naturally i chose the blue leg but had my doubts as i have read they're kind of rare. My suspicions were confirmed upon arrival..Tanzanian blue ring centipede. Don't get me wrong, i am in NO way disappointed as this creature is very pretty as well. Haven't had a chance to measure it....but i'd say it's almost full grown, 4" body length.

in that last pic...is that red hole next to it's leg normal for this species?

looks more like Ethmostigmus sp to me...
looking back at my thread about the Vietnamese dying and mori posting pics of his Ethmostigmus it seems you may be right. To me they look very very similar, I know Scolopendra have a certain headplate pattern or it overlaps the preceding segment (iirc), but I'm not sure how to differentiate this from the Ethmostigmus. I have a pic of the spines on the terminal legs:

found this thread I had read about a week ago:
http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/showthread.php?t=30406&page=3

VERY beautiful pede in there (Steven, do you still have that pede? :D) btw

anyway, in post #40 Jochen states that besides the 4 bald antennae segments (what does "bald" mean in this case? is it meaning the different colored segments *the green ones, there are four I believe from one of the first pics), there should be two spines on the femur of the terminal legs and a row of three spines on the dorsal side. From the first pic above in my previous post I can clearly see the two sets of spines described, if I can confirm the four bald antennae segments I should be good to go :) spiracles, according to Jochen should also be on the 7th and 8th segments...have to get some more pics though.

thanks in advance for any help!

Yeah,...
typical for sellers to call blue-ringed legged ones blue-legged pedes,...

Josh, the red hole next to the legs, would be, IIRC, a spiracle, not entirely sure what they are for (breathing perhaps), but all pedes have them. (i think)

Very nice pede.

feel free to be as scientific as you want :) Doesn't phase me really...i don't have a degree in biology but i'm not afraid to learn terminology.

thanks...that is what i was thinking too. have to catch it topside eating a cricket again to get a better pic so i can do the segment/spiracle count.
