I bought a juvi p. Cambridgei from an LPS today for 20 bucks. The seller said he guessed female but I'll wait for a molt before I get my hopes too high. It was housed in a 20 oz. Plastic drink cup, but there were no vent holes so I found tiny bits of mold immediately set about rehousing when I got home.

The poor thing was living in a little swamp. :(

But when I went to rehouse it, the thing teleported to my floor, either scratching my with a claw or tagging me I can't tell. Which leads me to believe scratch. Anyway, after a tussel I managed to get it in the emptied drink cup and turn the cup upside down on top of it's new home, which was a snug fit and the little heathen ran in like lightning. Needless to say, I have a large amount of respect for it's speed and grace.

Anyway, I'll post pics tomorrow after I let it calm down. Cute little bugger is probably in need of a stress ball.

I also rehoused my baby versicolor pics tomorrow. Maybe some feeding too.

I need to sit down. :D

I couldn't wait. ;P. Here's a few pics.

First my new fuzzy one! I'm thinking of calling it heathen. Har.
This is the new enclosure. It used to be a Dole peaches container. ^_^

Here's some over the top views. I used a couple inches of moist eco earth, chopsticks hot glued in place to anchor web and a cute little clay pot from michaels hot glued as a little tree house. I put like 50 vent holes in the whole thing with a thumbtack.

Then I moved my avicularia versicolor into a new home. This new container will be it's home for a while. It's pretty tall, but I'll make sure it gets its food.

Cute lil guys.

Congrats, I ADORE this species. I have a particularly nasty female(probably female...) and she's probably my favorite T in my collection. So good luck and have fun with that one!

Congrats on the new addition! She sure is cute :)

That text made me laugh, by the way... "I'm pretty sure that cambridgei just tagged me." LOL

:p

Two can play at that game, sir!

You're allergic to venom... but maybe, you're just completely allergic to Ts themselves

I'd cry, if I was you.

lol

Very nice!! I just finished upsizing my P. irminia's enclosure to make room for my P. cambridgei that's coming tomorrow. It went surprisingly smoothly, just 2 taps of the paintbrush and she darted right into the new enclosure and stopped right in the middle long enough for me to get the lid on. I was expecting so much worse!! I will post pictures tomorrow of the new enclosure. It's ridiculously girly and I love it!!! I am amped to get the P. cambridgei tomorrow!!

I those zippy arboreals!!!
