well everyone i purchased an striped albino kingsnake today for an unbelievable 50bucks at the size of about 18-20inches long, just thought i would post this to see if there were any specifics that i need to know about this species however i have cared for snakes several times before so i know the basics just want to see if there any specifics with species. On another note the reason i ended up with this snake is because i had purchased a Baboon tarantula of some kind from petco as a true zebra and well needless to say that is not exactly the t i was looking for so i traded it in to the local petstore for a credit of 20bucks and so i actually only pocket out 32dollars and some change for the snake.. well anyways appreciate any help anyone can be.. thanks guys, this forum ROCKS......

Keep it clean. It won't tolerate much for soiling. I keep mine on newspaper, but that's none too attractive. It does the job though and Diego is one happy 50/50. :cool:

Where are the pics of this new bud? :razz:

very cool

Nice looking adults! Those are remarkable. I've not seen that before and am really take with it.

Your enclosure setup sounds good too, but no pics? heheh I'm all about the visual. ;)

I just bought a 6 year old Jungle Carpet Python that I need to decide how to house and I'm looking at my king and thinking a natural viv would suit him too. He's really active just now and off his feed. He's got all the ear marks of needing to get laid. :}

He's normally pretty active though and would be worth setting up something to show him off. My 700 gram Ball Python is a little dull except when I want to be asleep. Maybe a red light might be worth investing in for those late nights. :rolleyes:
Cheers! Ian
