For the first time in 8 or so years, I got some leopard geckos! meet Lenin and Trotsky, my soviet lizards.
They are pretty cheap and easy to care for (for a reptile anyway). I would still recommend a lot thought and research before you buy one.Their names made me giggle.
They look absolutely adorable! Unlike most lovers of leopard geckos, I'm a sucker for their original coloring, instead of being keen about most of the morphs. However! These two look beautiful. <3 I'd love to have a leopard gecko...one day! ;;

I didn't go for a natural look at the time, this is many years ago. I went for these pre-cut cardboard cutouts. Also over time the Repticarpet gets stained and smells.Will do! My leopards chose the spot farthest from their hide, so it's sadly on their plant. Had no idea Repti-Carpet was bad, always used it for box turtles that wandered into our yard (some kids in our neighborhood ages ago would shoot box turtles, every now and then we'd find one that survived) What sub do you recommend for leopards?
One thing I've seen is paper towel. I sometimes use those mats for my python, luckily not expensive. I'll pick some more up!I didn't go for a natural look at the time, this is many years ago. I went for these pre-cut cardboard cutouts. Also over time the Repticarpet gets stained and smells.
This is not exactly what I had, but same material, except precut for fish tanks, and my cutouts I bought had a different texture. It worked great, granted not pretty, but I never thought carpet was pretty either haha
There are rubber mats out there made by the pet companies, but I've never used them, and have no idea what they are like etc.
