So sadly, my two baby iguanas died from what I (angrily) believe was a pet store parasite. *Sigh*

Now I have one crazy pimped out terrarium (One of those glass door, ventilated, expensive suckers.)

Well, cage has been cleaned out and steralized.

Now, I have NO idea what to get. I'm looking into getting something more exotic, very colorful,(possibly) rare. Possibly something you couldn't get in a 'normal' pet store. Some sort of crazy cool reptile, but I have no idea.

Any suggestions? Price and such are not an issue, just looking for some ideas I may not have thought of myself.

A uro wouldn't do well in the kind of cage you have. What about a red iguana or some kind of arboreal snake?

Would they be comfortable in a vertical style terrarium though?

I must have missed it when you said that..

Im going to go there, and know absolutely nothing about this..

Is it possible to obtain, or legal to have, poison dart frogs?

Or what are some other tropical frogs that are awesome and possible to obtain?

Get a green basilisk! I really want one I just don't have a big enough cage (or space for one).
One day though... :)

In California at least, poison dart frogs are legal and available, last I checked. They're available CB and apparently lose their poison in captivity, though I'm not going to lick one to check that.

If you're interested in more arid climate species and the terrarium's large enough, Varanus acanthrus (I may have misspelled that) otherwise called 'ackies' or spiny tailed monitors are pretty cool. Good dispositions, cute and reach less than 24" Though I don't know exactly how they'd take to a vertical terrarium.
