Yea I uhhh almost chopped it off in a meatslicer last week, the stitches came out yesterday... 9 of them could have used 11.... the doctors talked for an hour about cutting some of my finger off.... I'm lucky to have it... I cant feel the tip at all. maybe I'll post a pic.

Perhaps a small poll, I dont want to offend anyone...

I tried a butcher knife years ago, took a while but all my feeling returned. Show the pics.

BTW you think a post-sting Aphonopelma could take drops of hummingbird fluid? It's three weeks in recovery walking all over creation (on my keyboard right nowww) sorry  and not eating yet.

I'm not familiar with this approach... my wife (Nurse RN) says she doesnt see that being anything important because its basically sugar water, and doesnt compare to the nutriants of crickets.

*cringes* I tried a variant the day I got my santoku knife, nowhere near that bad though.

Beautiful tarantulas, especially the G. pulchra, can't wait for mine to grow up. Although a few look like they could be left alone a bit more. ;)

I had a similar cut like that while working on my car, couldn't type correctly for weeks! Though I only had 6 stitches
