She's here! And she's gorgeous! The two hour drive to the airport was so worth it. The damn people at Delta actually LOST THE BOX for a half hour. It was on the computer as being on the plane, they just couldn't figure out where it went after the plane landed. Talk about putting me in a panic......

Anyways, here she is! 04 (Born June 1st) female Hog Isle boa.

She shed while I was at work, so her pink highlights are much more visible. I'm so in love with this snake!

how big will she get?

and she's quite the beauty :)

Mori
Mori, Hogs average between 4.5 and 6 feet long depending on sex. Some are larger, but it's rare. Unfortunately they're being crossed with their larger cousins to take advantage of the lighter coloring, so there's a lot of unpure specimens out there. Some of these "crosses" are being sold as pure Hogs.

LP, Do you have any pics of it after it shed? Didn't you say that they can also change color depending on the surroundings?

I haven't taken any pictures of her post shed yet, am giving her time to settle in before I mess with her.
Hogs change color according to night and day. There's the real light color like in the pics above, and then there's a darker, more orangish color. Very cool snakes they are!
