Hi!! Just taking a moment to introduce myself. Im new to the boards. I joined yesterday. My name is Evan, i reside in Sierra Vista, AZ for the moment. Im 20 years old and just got into this hobby. Wish i woulda got into it sooner, its amazing. I find tarantulas facinating and can't wait to expand my collection and experience. This forum seems wonderful, and expect many good things from it. Im here to meet awesome people who share the same love and enthusiasm as me for tarantulas. And hope to learn much from you guys.:D
Im kinda new to this hobby, i only have 3 T's so far:( but have some in mind that im definently gonna get when i can afford em. Here's the awesome spider who opened me up to em.

Ares - I rescued him from a local pet shop about a year ago. He's a mature male rosea, so don't know how much longer i have with him :(
Tarantulas are awesome and addicting!!!!

Look foward to getting to know you guys.
Evan

Im guessing i got him right after his molt. There were a couple legs laying in the enclosier they had him in at the pet store unless it was a friend he ate. But he hasn't molted in my care. Unfornantly haven't been able to experience that yet.
Most definently gonna get him a girl!!! lol It'll be my first breeding project!!!

Hello and welcome to AB.
I found that going back a couple years in posts and reading forward really helped me learn alot about tarantulas and peoples experiences with them. I would suggest as a new tarantula owner to get The Tarantula Keepers Guide (if u dont already have one) and do lotsa reading/searching here for some answers to some very common questions.
Feel free to click on my signature to get to a VERY great resource that has been compiled for all.
ENJOY YOUR NEW PASSION!

I heard they take a long time to grow lol. And oh yes i have a large wish list already. Pretty soon i will i have a good variation of T's:D

Welcome Evan and congrats on that beautiful G. rosea by the way! He's lovely! :D It's an addicting and rewarding hobby, and there's much to learn, but you'll have a lot of fun learning. I've kept T's for 3 years now and I've acquired a lot of knowledge in just 3 years!
