I received my second group of A. fasciculata today so I'm going to give them a go communally for a bit and see how it goes. I know that Simon G has a small group of 3 together so thought I could give it a try with 4 of mine. I have other tubs ready in case they are needed and can split them up quickly.

NOOOOO, don't risk losing even one of these beauties!!!:embarrassed:

I know you have greater availiablity then us, but I could not imagine losing even one until they become truley available in greater numbers:confused:

I plan on losing alot of sleep watching my babies when they get here Mon. I couldn't take the risk.

GL just the same.

I'm just waiting to hear back from Simon on his group. If he has had any problems mine will be getting separated asap. I'll let you know what he says.

I know that he had the male with the female for around 10 weeks with no problems.

Awww you sounds like an expectant daddy  You are going to love them. They seem to drink a lot compared to my other avics and like a drop in temperature at night too. The drop in temp also helps with the humidity so all good.

I'm all excited for you getting yours at last. :D xxx

Hi, i have a quick question, how do you know they like the temp to drop at night? i keep mine at constant high temp and i don't hear them complain.

Because they told me :D

I just noticed how active they get when the temp drops a bit. My other spiders tend to settle down closest to the heat source where the fasciculata's dont seem to. When they do settle down they are further away from the heat.
I've only had them a short time so its just what I've noticed with mine so far :)
