What an adorable face Leanne! I love ferrets that don't have much of a mask. I have a male that looks a lot like yours that is 4 yrs old. My female is a silver also (3 yrs) that is turning more and more white. My daughter Laura has one here that looks simular, but she has little patches of color on the sides of her eyes, not a real mask. She got her as an adult from a petstore for free when she bought a larger cage for her rats. This one that she named Roxy is so sweet and never bites or chews on you. Spent her first yr growing up in the petstore, but learned not to bite on her own. My ferrets took to her right away and were so happy to have her. No fighting, they get along great which can be kind of unusual when you add another ferret to mix. Hope you and the ferret have become great friends. I love ferrets!

everyone is right, that is the most adorable ferret, i wish i still had mine but alas he is in my mothers care because california law forbids ferrets in this state

People that come in my house don't even know I have a ferret unless I mention it. His cage sits right in the living room, but there's no smell. His litterbox is cleaned several times a day, and all his blankets and hammocks are washed every week........no smell. He has a slight musky odor scent to his skin, but you don't smell it unless you put you nose right up to him and take a whiff.
