Earlier this week I received my brand new crested gecko. It's my 2nd one. I love these guys! Its hatch date was 8-12-05. I can't wait to see the color changes it will go through as it grows. So far it has been a very good eater. I fed it crickets last night and it literally chased them down. My other one waits for the crickets to come to him. I guess that's the difference in their personalities. Anyway, here's a picture of my new little one.

That's a damn fine looking gecko you got there my friend. I have always wanted a crested gecko but just don't have the space right now. Oh well, maybe when I get my own place.

Cool crested, how big are they at that age?

I'd get one except for some bizarre reason their appearance gives me the creeps, nothing else just crested.

I'm hopefully going to get some of these soon, just cant decide between cresties and gargoyles.

@Thoth, I know what you mean they look kind of sinister dont they :)
I think thats one of the reasons I like them {D

Nice looking crestie, That pic makes me want one. From what I heard they are real easy to care for. I was told that they can be kept in those chameleon screened cages? The only thing that stopped me from buying one before was that they were kind of pricey. If I don't get my yellow ackie I might get a few cresties.

He's about 3" from head to tip of tail.

I don't think they look sinister at all. Although, this particular picture makes it look a little evil. It was napping when I took the picture.

I'm not sure about keeping them in the screen cameleon cages. They need a high humidity, unlike other lizards, so you might have trouble keeping that up.

You can go here Crested gecko care sheet for an accurate care sheet.
