So my mom was at the petstore today and gives me a call. She says they have a crested gecko that lost its tail and they want to find it a home (didn't think it was worth much of anything cause of losing its tail). It was a subadult, and the coloration was explained as 'neon' with 'spots'. So i told her to snag it for me. Its definately a male which is ok... even though i only have 1 female right now. I am hoping it is either an olive dalmation, or better yet.... a moonglow dalmation. The price paid with tax? 32.50 ;)

Will post pics when i pick it up tonight from her!

Well, i got him! I do not know where they got that he was 'neon' or even an 'olive' color.... he is a chocolate dalmation. However, he is one of the nicest looking i have seen. The crests on him are beautiful, and he looks just like a chocolate chip cookie :). He is probably one of the most skittish cg's i have seen, very very jumpy. I think it may be mainly because he was jostled around quite a bit today.

I am gonna let him recoup in his new home until tommorrow in the dark, with food and water and see if he calms down some. Going to get pics also. I want him to get fired up and take pics of him, but he does not seem to look fired up tonight. Probably from the move? Anyway, i can't wait to breed him with my female when she matures, i think the pair would throw out some beautiful babies.

Can't wait to see the pics but I'd say give him at least a few days of peace and quiet -- between all the moves and whatever happened to cause him to drop his tail -- he has every reason to be completely stressed out.
