I picked up this pretty corn snake at the local pet shop the other day, I just love the way she looks. She doesn't seem to have been handled a whole lot before I got her, since she's so frightened when I even enter the room. I've been taking her out for a bit each day so that she'll get the idea that I don't mean her harm. I finally got her to stay still long enough for a few pictures. here's her coiled around my hand:

The camera was just too tempting for her not to check it out:

Wow! I'm not a fan at all of corns. Until now I had a hard time finding a corn I liked and never found once that I really loved. But ... wow!

Cheers,
Dave

Thanks for the compliments...I finally got a picture of the whole snake a few minutes ago, so here she is again:

That is a beautiful corn. I just bought an adult male Lavender from a guy that works for a local petstore. I would post a pic, but no digital camera.

Nice example of a local corn Joy. Seems your collection is still growing.

Yeah, and all those once small baby corns are growing as well. My '02 ghost has reached 3ft(taking adult mice now too), and my amel isn't far behind her. It's amazing how fast they grow. I'm at a comfortable amount of critters now, everyone is happy, but I'm not overloaded or anything, so I'm going to refrain from buying more reptiles unless I see something really special that I must have and have the available resources to care for. :)

Wow, now that is a beautiful corn. I love the normal phases. How many corn snakes are you up to now?

I have twelve at the moment...there are way too many great corn snake colors :) I'm planning on attempting some breeding projects with the ones that will be old enough and large enough next year. Should be fun :D

Just don't breed this one with any morphs, okay? There's way too many of them out there. :)

Bry - not a morph fan
