The unknown Aphonopelma is a A. seemanni.
It's the lighter color morph. I have 3 of them.;)
You can tell by the orange color on the butt.

Just an observation; instead of clicking the link button when posting a pic, click the little picture button and that will put an IMG in front of and after the file path. That will make the pics show up on the screen.

Very nice pics.

I tried that and when it put it on the boards.. not a single picture showed up.
Don't know why..

I gotta tell ya, despite the orange butt...
I don't think its an. A. Seemani.. It is waaaaayyyy too nice.
She is not defensive at all. She is a little quick.. but perhaps some sort of hybrid..Don't know how common it happens.. but
Despite the orange butt, no other characteristics of the Seemani seem to co-inside with my T...
Just my opinion.

I understand. My seemanni's are skittish but I can handle all of them without a problem. That's why they are recommended as a good starter species. What other characteristics, aside of the good attitude and the orange butt are you saying don't coinside? Here, look at this ones I have.

Look how much they differ but are all the same species.:D
Sorry about the pic quality. I can't afford a good camera yet.

Lack of white coloring on knees. Although in the last pic, that juvie doesn't have them either..
AND I have an allergy to its uriticating hairs. Which is why I sold the last one I had. I wear gloves when handling my A. Hentzi. But I went to the doctor, and I get a worse reaction from its hairs, than any other T.
I have handled other Seemani's with the same result. This one I do not have the reaction to AT ALL.
But I could be wrong.

The only way to be sure is to send the exuvium off to have it identified.

Sure hope you are able to get the pics up. I noticed a couple of the pic were blurry and I'd like to see the T's in those pics. Good luck. Computers suck sometimes, don't they. :D

Two of the pics are blurry because I didn't take the t out of the enclosure. Wint N Kidd, is an A. Avic that just molted.. I didn't want to handle her for a few days..
The other is a P. Cambridgei sling, I will have to tear up its habitat to get a pic.. I will wait to do that.
THe others are easier to photograph. LOL
I will have to wait for the unknown to molt.. untill then I will feed it and be happy. LOL
