Hello,
I just got a new C. Versicolor but she is almost solid black with a little white on her legs. Is this normal for them? I thought they were supposed to be bluish.

Such question like this, providing a picture or two would be greatly helpful.

Do you have any pictures that sounds really interesting and pretty. But yeah blue green carapace, greenish blue legs, and a mostly black abdomen with bright red-orange hair and very colorfull foot pads. This is my Nicaraguan curly hair that is supposed to be Brown with yellowish or goldish hair and mine actually has pinkish hair and a pinkish purple carapace so don't listen to these guys right away just because of the color of your spider just maybe a special one like mine. I will try to take better pictures later when the lighting is better but for now hopefully this color will give you an idea.

This looks more like a G rosea than it looks like a curly to me. But if OP doesn't post pics all we can do is guess

C. versicolor has varying degrees of color inbetween specimens but are overall similar. We need pictures to be sure of what we're looking at here because we cannot see what you're seeing.

Most albopilosums look just like gramastola roseas when juveniles. Just like L.Ps and many other Ts. The curly hair doesn't become very curly until growing into sub adult or adult bodies. Either way my baby's beautiful with her pinkish purplish hair

I'm Curtis as am not a very social person 😂 what does rcf mean??

I’ve raised hundreds of curlies, my first T was an LP. And I have dozens of rosea. What you have in that pic is a G rosea not a T albo

It's a tliltocatl albipilosum lol can you please send me a pic of a juvenile albi in that case so I can educate myself better cause if it is I feel like I got ripped off. I really wanted a curly hair.

Red color form.
I meant to say curious lol and thank you BTW I that's new terminology term for me.

Darn I just started looking at them and am now pretty sure I was taken! Lol thanks for the info, I probably would have spent the next few years wondering when her hair would turn curly. 😆

How do I do that? I would love to see.
Click the media tab and there are genus galleries , tons of pictures of both for you to compare your spider to. If you really didn’t want the rosehair, I’m sure you could easily find someone to trade you a bunch of curlies for it. Or sell it. Dm me if you need help finding that info
