Here is the new burrow. It is an Orange squash 3l bottle cut in half at the handle then buried at fairly shallow angle [approx 35 degrees]. The handle that justs out allows a circulatory body of air and also acts as a feeding tube for popping in locusts.

Such as can be seen here. [EDIT > Notice the bent leg to the right?]

and

S/he moulted and seemed a bit cramped so now it has a much larger home and the feeding tube works just perfectly!

The spider has a funny back leg that she cant walk on :( ... She holds it up in the air behind her rump but the exoskeleton is perfectly intact, I feel that she hadnt had enough room to moult proplery and got a bent ankle in the process.

However being as she is eating like a pig :} I think it will sort itself out just nicely on the next moult especially as she now has a much larger burrow.

Also when it comes to moving to its next home i can just grab the handle and lift the entire burrow out in one go.

Hope you enjoy. :D

Our G. rosea has the same sort of molt problem you seem to be describing. Her leg is bent up in a funny direction. But she is very active (more than probably any of our others, which is strange for a rosea). If you haven't had any problems with her eating, she should be fine. Just be extra observant in her next molt in case it causes any problems. Nice set-up too.
